Social Worker

If you are a New Zealand Registered Social Worker,  have worked in Mental Health & would like to take advantage of a great opportunity to develop your career, we want you for our Mental Health Rehabilitation team in Porirua, Wellington!

We want a qualified and experienced social worker who has:

• The ability to establish rapport and work with clients from diverse backgrounds & with different needs
• The ability to communicate fluently
• The ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team
• Previous experience in mental health and rehabilitation work
• A working knowledge of NZ mental health legislation
• Proven ability in identifying resources and deploying them efficiently
• Excellent knowledge of counselling, assessment, risk management, conflict resolution and crisis management
• The ability to work with and support whanau/families

You will be part of a progressive, innovative & supportive service that:

2. Has regular in-service training and support towards external education
3. Is part of a multidisciplinary team
