NURSES IN THE LEARNING DISABILITY AND MENTAL HEALTH AREAS

Have a look at the Nursing Council website to establish your eligibility - http://www.nursingcouncil.org.nz/index.cfm/1,25,html/Home .  You will need to register directly with them online. You will find that you will have to do the IELTS (Academic - english exam) before they accept your papers.

The interview questions revolve around relevant work experience, knowledge of NZ culture and brief knowledge/attitude towards the Treaty of Waitangi, risk management, conflict resolution, team work, models of care used/aware of and other general questions.
